The previous Gundam Champion, GaryB, continues to crush No-Limit Tournaments by winning Event #1 (NLHE Bounty) in the 2020 WSOG series. New WSOG players HighS and DanH gave G.Berg a run for his money, placing 2nd and 3rd (my money was on HighS to win it, after observing his play.) But historically it is always tough to beat GaryB, who has shown years of consistent No-Limit Hold’em Tournament wins.
ChrisS collected a bunch of bounties along with the Bad Beat Bonus (losing with his trip kings for the worst beat of the night), while MattB and DanH had to split the High Hand (kings over aces.) WillA was the big baller, squeezing river bet value with his pair of 8’s.
Most of the old-school WSOG players were among the first to get knocked out, with KevinZ, MarkD and TimM going out in rapid succession.
